Clarification re. Constituencies.-
[edit]My dear Bejnar (talk) hi!
On Sept. 2012, you have done the following extension:
<quote>
Constituencies
[edit]For parliamentary elections, Arusha Region is divided into constituencies. As of the 2010 elections Arumeru District had two constituencies, Arumeru West (Arumeru Magharibi) Constituency and Arumeru East (Arumeru Mashariki) Constituency.
</unquote>
Which continues to exist until this very day.
Now, if you look at page 2/4 of [District Council], you'll see:
<quote>
Meru district Council was established under Government gazette No. 353 of 2007, following the government decision to split Arumeru district and introduce two Councils Meru and Arusha. Meru District Council started to functions as an independent council from fiscal year 2007/2008.

Naturally, the following question arises: Since Arumeru District ceased to exist from 2007, how come Arumeru has constituencies in 2010?
With kindest regards! --Aristo Class (talk) 20:54, 28 June 2016 (UTC)
- Apparently, constituencies don't have to match the districts. --Bejnar (talk) 02:25, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
